Garland Police Looking For Suspects in Convenience Store Killing

GARLAND (WBAP/KLIF News) — A clerk at a Garland convenience store was killed over the weekend, and police are still looking for the suspects.

Garland Police say two black men entered the convenience store off Broadway Blvd. Saturday night just before midnight and robbed the clerk, who has been identified as 35-year-old Manish Panday.

After a brief struggle, the clerk was shot and killed.

Police say the men are between 6’0 and 5’9 respectively, with thin builds.

After viewing surveillance footage, investigators said the first suspect entered the store wearing a black hoodie, dark jeans and blue shoes with white soles.

The second suspect is wearing a dark hoodie, khaki pants and carried a blue Spiderman backpack.

Detectives believe that one of the suspects may have injured his leg during the robbery.
