FEMA Trailer Auctions Back On

Fort Worth (AP) –  The General Services Administration has resumed auctioning off used disaster-response trailers even as survivors of the 2017 hurricane season live in tents, motel rooms, refurbished RVs or in unsafe, storm-damaged homes. Some of the auctioned-off Federal Emergency Management Agency trailers have resurfaced on Craigslist. Other trailers, damaged by Hurricane Harvey or the flooding that followed, have been donated and fixed up by volunteers to house families who had, until recently, been living in tents
