Haslet, TX – (WBAP/KLIF) – The Amazon Fulfillment center in Haslet is bracing for what they’re expecting to be their biggest Cyber Monday to date. Allison Leader is with Amazon and says today is understandably one of their busiest days of the year.
“Every year, more and more customers purchase more and more items from Amazon on Cyber Monday. And, really I think we’re just constantly responding to customer desires and getting more and more deals at better prices, that can get to most customers quickly.”
Around 3,000 full-time employees work at the Haslet center regularly, with hundreds of additional seasonal workers working today and throughout the holiday.
She says the Haslet facility is one of the busiest in the country due to the robotics installed that can help get products boxed up quicker.
