Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – More closures this weekend on the Dallas North Tollway as work continues to rebuild the Tennyson Parkway bridge. Back in August, crews put the final beams in place and now they are ready to pour concrete for the new southern portion of the deck bridge. Here are the closures….
Closures needed to complete this work are: 9-11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20:
• Two northbound lanes of the DNT from the Spring Creek Parkway exit to the Headquarters Drive entrance ramp
• Two southbound lanes of the DNT from Gaylord Parkway to the Spring Creek Parkway entrance ramp Note: A minimum of one lane will be open in each direction.
11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, through 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23 (Continuous closure):
• All northbound lanes of the DNT from the Spring Creek Parkway exit to the Headquarters Drive entrance ramp
• All southbound lanes of the DNT from Gaylord Parkway to the Spring Creek Parkway entrance ramp
• Two southbound right lanes from Spring Creek Parkway to Parker Road
• The southwest- and northeast-bound SRT directconnector ramps to southbound DNT
• The northbound DNT direct-connector ramps to southwest- and northeast-bound SRT
• The northbound entrance ramps from Windhaven New beams at Tennyson Parkway Parkway and Spring Creek Parkway
• The northbound exit ramps at Legacy Drive and Headquarters Drive
• The southbound entrance ramps from Gaylord Parkway, State Highway 121 and Legacy Drive
• The southbound exit ramps to Legacy Drive and Spring Creek Parkway
• The entrance ramp from Preston Road to southbound DNT Note: Tennyson Parkway will remain open to traffic.
All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed if necessary.
