DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Cowboys, including owner Jerry Jones, briefly took a knee prior to the singing of the National Anthem Monday night in Phoenix for Monday Night Football against the Cardinals.
The team walked to midfield for the brief demonstration and then walked back to the sidelines, locked arms and stood during the performance of the National Anthem by Jordin Sparks.
Several NFL athletes took a knee during Sunday games after President Donald Trump said players should be fired if they kneel during the National Anthem.
