ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF News) — One woman is dead and a man is in the hospital after someone went on a stabbing spree at an Arlington shopping center Monday night.
Police say a man was stabbed around 9:30 across the street from the Parks Mall near I-20 and Cooper. He was taken to the hospital and his condition is unknown.
Just minutes later, police received a call about another stabbing just one block south. That woman was also taken to the hospital, but she was pronounced dead.
When officers arrived to the second scene, the suspect began stabbing himself. They stopped him in time to get him to the hospital, but his condition is also unknown.
Police believe the three knew each other and that they may have been family, though it’s too early to determine the motive behind the stabbings.
