DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — A soon-to-be Family Dollar store in Dallas was destroyed by a fire early Thursday morning.
The building off Walnut Hill between Webb Chapel and Harry Hines was vacant, but had a sign on the side that read “Coming soon: Family Dollar.” A three-alarm fire burned through the roof sometime before 2:00 this morning, resulted in a total loss.
Dallas Fire and Rescue say they don’t know what caused the fire, but that nobody was hurt.

Walnut Hill going eastbound was completely shut down as fire crews were parked in the street fighting the blaze.
