3 Texas Schools Make Top 50 ‘Best Colleges for Your Money’

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — Three universities in Texas have made the list of top 50 ”Best Colleges For Your Money 2017.”

Rice took the top spot in the state ranked 12th nationally, followed by the University of Texas at Austin at No. 31 and Texas A&M at No. 34.

The list was put together by Money magazine based its finding off of three main factors: quality of education, affordability, and earnings after college.

Tuition at UT and A&M runs between $26,200 to $27,800 a year.

Rice is pricier at almost double the cost but their quality of education was better and earning potential after college was greater.
