Federal Commission Asking for Voters’ Information

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — A commission looking into alleged voter fraud during the 2016 election is facing opposition over the kind of information it’s requesting.

The Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity sent a letter to all 50 states asking for information, such as registrant’s full names, address, dates of birth, political parties, the last four of a voter’s social security number, and more. They say the information will be released to the public once the commission has completed its investigation.

Producer Robyn Geske joined Dave & Amy Wednesday morning to talk about the possible privacy issues that come along with that request.
