Plano (WBAP/KLIF) – It will cost more starting Saturday to drive on a toll road in North Texas. On July 1st, the North Texas Tollway Authority is raising rates a penny per mile. ZipCash customers will pay 50 percent more than TollTag customers. NTTA says the extra money will help the agency meet all its financial obligations, including repaying more than $9.5 billion in bonds issued to build toll roads.
