DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — Texas politicians are reacting to Thursday night’s air-strike against Syria.
President Donald Trump ordered the strike last night in response to Syrian president Bashar al-Assad launching a chemical attack of his own against his own citizens, leaving dozens of men, women and children dead.
Congressman Pete Sessions says not just Americans, but the world should be proud of how President Trump handled the strike, pointing to how he only targeted the Syrian airbase that the Pentagon says launched the chemical attacks.

Meanwhile, Senator Ted Cruz called Syrian president Bashar al-Assad a monster and puppet, while also praising the President for taking swift action against a Syrian regime that is “murdering innocent men, women, and children.”

Congressman John Ratcliffe joined the WBAP Morning News and discussed when he learned of the attack, whether or not the President needs Congressional approval to attack again, and the political implications of the attack between Republicans and Democrats.
