PLANO (WBAP/KLIF) – Boeing has chosen Plano to be site of the company’s new Global Services business unit. That means more jobs and more people are headed to North Texas.
Plano Mayor Harry LaRosiliere says the city’s reputation helped Boeing make the decision.
“We get things done, we move forward quickly and we provide an environment for companies to thrive,” said LaRosiliere. “All those components, put them together, it was the winning formula.”
Texas Governor Greg Abbott says Texas continues to be a global powerhouse in business expansion and relocation because of economic policies encouraging industry leaders.
The new facility should become operational in July.
