DFW Auto Show Features Automation Improvements

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News)  That new car smell will be in downtown Dallas this week. The DFW auto show debuts today, but, it may look more like an electronics expo with some of the advancements to communications and fuel efficiency. Chevrolet Communications Manager Patrick Hernandez says automation takes a front seat this year with sensor and camera-operated braking and parking systems in many new models. The show lasts through Sunday at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. For ticket information, click here.

 

Hours of the show are: 4 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 22; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 23, 24 and 25; and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 26. Tickets are $14 for adults, $7 for senior citizens 65 and older and children ages 6-12, $10 for military with ID, and children 5 and under are admitted free. $1 discount coupons are available at participating franchised new car dealerships.
