COPPELL (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Coppell Independent School District is looking into allegations about a racist goodbye card left for a Hispanic student inside a classroom.
A student took a picture of it and posted it on social media.
One line read, “Ya’ll were a blessing when it came to building the new arena.”
In an email to parents, district officials said it will take disciplinary action because it violates the school’s code of conduct.
The League of United Latin American Citizens has requested a meeting with the district over the situation.
