Texas Christian University Shuts Down Alleged Drug-Dealing Frat House

TCU logoFort Worth (WBAP/KLIF News) – TCU administrators shut down The Beta Theta chapter of the Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity yesterday after repeated incidents of drug dealing, raging parties and hazing. Yesterday’s dismissal came after university administrators discussed the situation with the fraternity’s national office.

An email released by the Phi Kappa Sigma President Clayton Reis stated that the chapter’s president, who lived at the house, was in possession of drugs, guns and alcohol. The email also stated that this behavior was widespread among the Beta Theta members; who had been disciplined twice for hazing in the last three years. He alleged that the drinking, drugs and hazing had become the culture of the chapter.

TCU said they’re working with the fraternity to reestablish the Beta Theta chapter on the campus.
