North Texas Red Cross Trucks, Personnel Headed to Louisiana

ERV

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF News) – Flood victims in Louisiana need help, and the Red Cross of North Texas is stepping up.

Fred McClure says eight personnel and four Emergency Response Vehicles are headed to Baton Rouge to help people affected by the flooding.

“We’ll be delivering food or bulk materials, water, tarps, things that they need down there,” said McClure.  “We’re usually the first ones in the field, to help people on the ground, that may not have received anything yet.”

It’s the second time in as many months he’s been to Louisiana to help flood victims.  They’ll be gone at least two weeks, maybe as long as two months.
