DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Dallas Zoo will be releasing the name of its newest baby elephant around 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
The announcement will come via the lights on Reunion Tower.
The zoo planned to release the name earlier this month, but it postponed the announcement due to the July 7th shootings and Reunion Tower remaining lit up to honor the fallen offiers.
The male calf was born in May.
His mom was brought to Dallas from Swaziland in March.
