Extra Security for Dallas Judge

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A Dallas district court judge is receiving extra security after the suspicious death of a local attorney.

Sheriff’s deputies are patrolling the area around the home of judge Eric Moye and bailiff’s in his courtroom have also been placed on alert.

The extra security comes after the death last Friday of attorney Ira Tobolowsky.

He was found dead in the garage of his home. His body had been doused with some sort of fuel and set on fire.

Judge Moye had handled a number of cases involving the prominent civil lawyer.

Dallas police are treating the death as a homicide.
