FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – A plane is on the ground at Alliance Airport after the pilot had a problem while in the air.
The pilot reported landing gear issues just before starting to land. The Fort Worth Fire Department’s Lieutenant Kyle Faulker explains that’s known as an Alert 2.
“Which means the pilot has identified a problem with the aircraft and does feel it will affect their ability to land the aircraft safely. Thankfully, the plane was able to land safely and they ended up canceling the incident.”
He adds that fire crews train for these types of incidents all the time.
