| Remember Alex Brown Foundation - Friday, January 28, 2011Jeanne and Johnny Mac Brown, parents of the late Alex Brown joined Jeff Bolton this morning to offer their message of awareness to stop texting while driving. Alex was killed as she drove to what seemed like just another ordinary day of her senior year in high school. Although no other vehicles were involved, Alex was not alone. The cell phone on which she had sent and receive over 10,000 text messages in the weeks preceding her accident was with her. Alex lost her life to texting while driving.
Also joining Jeff Bolton Mornings today was country music star Mark McGuinn, who will host a free concert tonight (Friday, January 28) at Gilley’s Saloon, 1135 South Lamar Street, Dallas 75215 at 9:00pm. Although the concert is free, they’ll be taking donation for the Remember Alex Brown Foundation and raising awareness to the dangers of texting while driving.
In addition, the Brown family will be featured on a two hour special edition of Extreme Home Makeover, Sunday January 30th at 7:00 pm on WFAA-TV Channel 8. Palm Harbor Homes has helped raise over $25,000 to aid the project. |

| ERIC BYRES ON WIKILEAKS AND CYBER TERROR - Thursday, December 02, 2010 LISTEN TO THE PODCST HERE
Friday morning at 9:05 on Jeff Bolton Mornings:
- Will Wikileaks Survive the Weekend?
- How Cyber Terror could be used to stop the most wanted man in Cyber Space.
- Eric Byres...Could the Cyber Missile that took down the Iranian Nuclear Program take down Julian Assange?
The mission: Infiltrate the highly advanced, securely guarded enemy headquarters where scientists in the clutches of an evil master are secretly building a weapon that can destroy the world. Then render that weapon harmless and escape undetected.
But in the 21st century, Bond doesn't get the call. Instead, the job is handled by a suave and very sophisticated secret computer worm, a jumble of code called Stuxnet, which in the last year has not only crippled Iran's nuclear program but has caused a major rethinking of computer security around the globe.
