570 KLIF CITY COUNCIL MEMBER - Kimberly Summers, Wylie

I have been a listener for many, many years. I would have to say within the past couple of years, I have very much been more involved in the goings on of my community, especially since my husband and I moved to Wylie over a year and a half ago.  Since living in Wylie, I have attended council meetings and conversed with my neighbors about the bonds that have been up for vote. It amazes me how they turn and twist items they want to go through. Example - they spread the word how the schools need upgrades; and many of us agree that some of the schools do. However, the schools do not need $4K bathroom doors. I am a Property Manager for a very well known Real Estate company here in the DFW area, and I am very aware how much items cost.......and I see an awful lot and deal with 5 different cities where my properties are located. I would very much like the opportunity to become even more involved and this seems like the perfect stepping stool. I look forward to the possibility to being the one chosen for my area. FYI - LOVE Bill O'Reilly and Glen Beck - read all of their books!
