DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and his wife are expecting their third child. Romo’s wife, Candice Crawford, announced the news Tuesday morning on Cumulus Media’s KTCK 96.7 FM / 1310 AM, The Ticket.
During an in-studio interview with hosts George Dunham, Craig Miller, and Gordon Keith, Crawford told the trio, “We will be expecting our third little Romo offspring this August.”
Tony and Candice were married in 2011 and already have two sons together: Rivers, 2, and Hawkins, 4.
The star quarterback, sidelined last year by a back injury and the emergence of rookie Dak Prescott, has said having children strengthens his family values and his relationship with his wife. He added, “It’s been a great blessing from God to put us in this situation. We feel very honored.”
Candice told The Ticket audience she would love to have a daughter this time but will still be thrilled if she winds up with another boy.
